By moving a slider on Speed Gear’s interface you change a game’s speed. That’s because Speed Gear is a hack tool that can speed up and slow down software speed. Move the slider to the left to slow down, move the slider to the right to speed up. It is that simple to use Speed Gear!

A setup wizard will help you install Speed Gear on your Windows-powered PC. As the developer explained, Speed Gear provides support for Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista and 7. The developer also explained that Windows 7 64-bit is not supported but “we are working on it.”

A prompt shows up when you launch Speed Gear. It tells you that you’re using a trial version that’s limited to 30 uses. It also cautions you that Speed Gear might be considered a cheat when used in some online games.

A Tips of the Day prompt shows up after that. It tells you that Speed Gear is a hack tool for Windows, that you can use it to slow down or speed up PC games, that you can use a slider or a hotkey to change the speed, that Speed Gear does not harm your computer, and that Speed Gear only changes the CPU speed, it does not boost your download/upload speed.

Speed Gear has a very simple interface. At the top there’s a section that allows you to pick if you want to change the speed for all windows or select a target and change the speed for a specific window. Underneath it there’s a slider that allows you to adjust the software speed and a big round button that allows you to return to the default speed. Down at the bottom there are buttons to open the settings menu, register your copy of Speed Gear, and access the help menu.

Whenever I have some free time on my hands, I like to play a computer game – any will do. But since I don’t have a lot of time on my hands, sometimes I feel like the game is moving too slow for my liking. Speed Gear comes in handy in such situations because it allows me to hack the speed of the computer game. Thanks to Speed Gear I can speed up the game when I don’t have lots of time to waste and I can slow it down when I’m battling a boss and want to easily beat it.
